Careers

Build technology people can eventually outgrow.

Join a small team of researchers, engineers, and designers building software and hardware in the same room. You will own a problem from first hypothesis to field study, test it with real people, and publish what the work teaches us. The bar is high because the outcome matters: tools that strengthen human capability instead of replacing it.

01

Own the whole problem

Small teams take a product from first hypothesis to field study — including the model, device, interface, and evidence.

02

Build across both worlds

Hardware and software are built together, in the same room. You will learn beyond your specialty and teach the rest of us yours.

03

Publish the evidence

We share methods, retired prototypes, and negative results. Your work is judged by whether it holds up, not how well it pitches.

04

Grow past the tool

Every project asks whether people are more able after the tool is gone. We want your time here to expand your capabilities too.

Do not see your title? If you can help us build more legible, attention-aware technology, write to[email protected]. Tell us what problem you would want to own and share a piece of work you are proud of. We read every note.
